Project Description

The Mass Transport and Toll Road Studies were undertaken to assess the viability of implementing a mass transport system within the Greenfield-Sta. Rosa Development site and establishing the Mamplasan Road as a toll road connecting residential and commercial developments owned or controlled by Greenfield Development Corporation in Sta. Rosa, Laguna and nearby areas.

For this assessment, SYSTRA was given 4 months by by MVA Hong Kong Limited to perform the following:

  • Coordination with the Principal in conducting the studies, particularly in securing relevant information/data
  • Coordinate with the surveyors for the traffic surveys to be undertaken, including securing necessary permit/s
  • Analysis of the road network and transport requirements within the development site and the connection from Mamplasan to Biñan
  • Determine the best mass transport system to implement within the development site and for the connection
  • Preparation of the preliminary drawings and costs of various systems
  • Analysis of the alignment for the proposed toll road, and preparation of preliminary drawings and cost estimates
  • Coordination with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and the Toll Regulatory Board
