Relative to the claims of Light Rail Manila Corporation versus the grantors (government) of the LRT 1 South Extension Project, SYSTRA Philippines was tasked to:

• Review of the LRTA Maintenance Records Accomplishment Reports in comparison with the LRTA Maintenance Plans, and identify anomalies and shortfalls;
• Determine if identified faults requiring corrective maintenance were indeed promptly repaired; and,
• Identify where preventive/corrective maintenance has not been carried out because of insufficient spares.
